The blueprint isn’t magic. Following it makes magic possible.

Steven Darby & Erik Ford of Heavy Heavy

There is no ‘how’ without first understanding ‘why.’

We get it; you want to get to work. Now. You want a new thing and you want it to be beautiful and functional, and you want your audience to enjoy it. We get to the bottom of your communication challenges, and work with you to prioritize goals. We do the right work, on-time and on-budget, but only after we ask the right questions.

Design has to be functional.

An idea is only as good as its execution, and we specialize in making new ideas work. Design isn't just about pretty things. We focus on the utility and efficacy of our work first, and decoration comes later. We’re dope at making pretty things, but pretty things have zero value if people can't understand their beauty.

If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing the shit out of.

We believe we're the best at what we do. We think it'd be strange to be out here in the game if we didn't. We didn't start Heavy Heavy to do things halfway, or to just build minimum viable products. We exist to make better things, and to make things better. We're not here to just kick the can.

Darby, from Heavy Heavy, speaking at Trinity University

We deliver only valuable assets.

We can design anything, but we only produce what's valuable to our clients. We don't suggest random things, invent billable work, or try to bundle services just to make more money. Truth be told, we'd do this work even if we weren't paid. We happen to know the value of our work, and our clients' ongoing success indicates we know what we're doing.
