Jason Seats wanted a personal monogram and brief visual identity to brand his forthcoming blog covering startup culture, tech innovation and Werewolf game theory.
We decided on doing a mark that was dead simple and felt modern. It’s a difficult job sometimes to make sure a personal mark is representative of the client. With this one we needed to be certain it didn’t come off as pretentious. Seats is a sincere, approachable guy, and he’s one of the smartest people we know. We wanted to do something that reflected his character; something that felt fun, had some math to it, but wasn’t overly complicated.
